Let \(G\) be a finitely generated pro-\(p\) group, and let \(\mathbb{A}\) be the ring \(\mathbb{Z}_{p}\) or \(\mathbb{F}_p\). Let \(\mathrm{Al}(\mathbb{A},G)=\varprojlim \mathbb{A}[G/U]\), where \(U\) is an open normal subgroup of \(G\), be the completed group algebra of \(G\) over \(\mathbb{A}\) and let \(\mathrm{Al}_{n}(\mathbb{A}, G)\) be the \(n\)-th power of the augmentation ideal of \(\mathrm{Al}(\mathbb{A}, G)\) and \(G_{n}(\mathbb{A}) = \{g \in G \mid g - 1 \in \mathrm{Al}_{n}(\mathbb{A}, G) \}\) the filtration of \(G\). In particular \(\{G_{n}(\mathbb{F}_{p})\}_{n \in \mathbb{N}}\) is the Zassenhaus filtration of \(G\), and is an open characteristic basis of \(G\). The goal of this paper is to study the action of groups on Zassenhaus and lower central filtrations of finitely generated pro-\(p\) groups. The authors focus on the semisimple case. Particular attention is given to finitely presented groups of cohomological dimension less than or equal to two.
