On the geometry of the Hermitian Veronese curve and its quasi-Hermitian surfaces (Q6172316)

Fixing an odd prime power \(q\), in the article under review, the authors study the orbits of a particular action of the projective linear group \(\mathrm{PGL}(2,q^2)\) that arises from the Hermitian Veronese curve in projective three space \(\mathrm{PG}(3,q^2)\). In doing so, the authors' main result gives a new family of quasi-Hermitian surfaces. Finally, the authors discuss in detail the previously known examples of quasi-Hermitian surfaces and explain how their construction fits into these previously known results.
