In the absence of a general method, several mathematical techniques have been developed and applied to solve nonlinear differential equations. However, the results obtained are not always suitable for implementation in practical applications. Thus, the elementary representation of solutions of differential equations has become a fact which cannot be overlooked. In this work, the authors succeed in showing that many truly nonlinear conservative systems can be built with exact harmonic solutions. They have shown the existence of self-oscillating systems with exact algebraic limit cycles of degree 2 corresponding to harmonic solutions. As an illustration, the phase portrait and vector field for the following equation for \(n=0\), \(n=1\) and \(n=2\) is demonstrated: \[ x''+ [x^{2}(x^{2}-1) +(x^{2}x'+x+x^{2n+5}+x^{2n+7}+\sum_{l=0}^{n}x^{2l+3}) x'] x'+x^{2n+9}=0 \]
