All spaces considered here are Hausdorff, \(d(X)\) denotes the density of the space \(X\), and \(\tau\) is an infinite cardinal. The main result in this very well written paper is the following: Theorem 1.1: For a space \(X\), the following are equivalent: \begin{itemize} \item[(a)] \(X\) is \(\tau\)-paracompact and normal; \item[(b)] If \(E\) is a topological vector space with \(d(E)\le \tau\), then each convex-valued open relation \(\Phi:X \rightsquigarrow E\) has a continuous selection. \end{itemize} Using the above result the author gives new simple proves of some classical results of Dowker, Katětov, Michael and Morita. Other new results and corollaries of the above theorem are also obtained.
