This paper studies the relationship between, and properties of, various categories of complexes of Gorenstein projective (\(\mathcal{GP}\)) modules. In particular it studies recollement of triangulated categories in the context of the category, \(K^{\infty,\mathrm {bgp}}(\mathcal{R-GP})\), of unbounded complexes of \(\mathcal{GP}\) modules whose relative homology is bounded, and it shows that for \(\mathcal{R}\) a \(n-\)Gorenstein ring, there is a right recollement of \(K^{\infty,\mathrm {bgp}}(\mathcal {R-GP})\) having \(K_{\mathrm {gpac}}(\mathcal{R-GP})\), the category of acyclic such complexes as a triangulated subcategory. Considering titling objects in the derived category \(D_{gp}^b(A-mod)\) of a CM-finite \(n\)-Gorenstein Artin algebra, \(A\), the authors then use a result of \textit{B. Keller} [``Derived categories and tilting'', in: Handbook of tilting theory, London Math. Soc. Lecture Notes 332. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 49--104 (2007; Zbl 1106.16300)], to obtain a triangle equivalence between \(D_{gp}^b(A-mod)\) and \(D_{gp}^b(End_A(G)^{\mathrm {op}}-mod)\), where \(G\) is the direct sum of all the pairwise non-isomorphic indecomposable finitely generated \(\mathcal{GP}\) \(A\)-modules.
