The systems considered here are billiards modified to include an additional influence of a conservative force field derived from an external potential, namely mechanical systems defined on a two-dimensional Riemannian manifold together with a force function. The force allows for new phenomena, in particular it is possible to have a well-defined billiard map on an unbounded table. Several natural examples that fit into this framework are presented, populating the main results, which are concerned with how conformal transformations act on these systems. Using this, it is shown that many examples of integrable billiards are shown to be related and in the reverse direction some classical models seem to be new.
