Let \(c(x,y)=0\) be a irreducible real cubic curve in the real plane. It is known that such a curve can divide the plane in either two or three connected regions. Let \[ \Sigma=\{(x,y)\in\mathbb{R}^2\colon c(x,y)=0\} \] and \(X=(X_1,X_2;\Sigma)\) or \(X=(X_1,X_2,X_3;\Sigma)\) be a planar piecewise smooth vector field following Fillipov's convention and having \(\Sigma\) as discontinuity set. Suppose also that each \(X_i\) is a linear vector field with a center singularity. In this paper the authors obtain the maximum number of limit cycles that \(X\) can have, provided each limit cycle intersect \(\Sigma\) in four distinct points. Under these conditions the authors prove that \(X\) can have \(0\), \(1\), \(2\), \(3\) or \(4\) (resp. \(0\), \(1\), \(2\)) if \(\Sigma\) divides the plane in three (resp. two) connected regions. Moreover, in each case the authors also provides every possible configuration of the limit cycles. It is valuable to note that the case in which each limit cycle intersect \(\Sigma\) in two distinct point were also studied by the authors in [\textit{R. Benterki} and \textit{J. Llibre}, Dyn. Contin. Discrete Impuls. Syst., Ser. A, Math. Anal. 28, 3, 153--192 (2021; Zbl 1477.34035)] and that in this case \(X\) can have at \(0\), \(1\), \(2\) or \(3\) limit cycles.
