Higher regularity and asymptotic behavior of 2D magnetic Prandtl model in the Prandtl-Hartmann regime (Q6189363)

The authors investigate the mathematical features of a magnetohydrodynamic problem for an incompressible fluid in a 2D domain with flat boundaries affected by the tangential magnetic field. The corresponding evolutional system consists of the Prandtl-Hartmann equations supplied with the Dirichlet boundary conditions. Two main results are the following: establishing the local well-posedness with higher regularity and the global stability considered in the sense of asymptotic behaviour of solution when it is approaching the equilibrium state.
