Final aim of this paper is the study of propagation for the gravity-capillary water waves. To this end, the author considers first a linearization of the problem, and introduces some tools of microlocal analysis, allowing applications to the non-linear case. Namely, the basic linear model is a fractional Schrodinger equation, motivating the use of anisotropic pseudo-differential operators and related quasi-homogeneous global wave front sets, see \textit{L. Rodino} and \textit{P. Wahlberg} [Monatsh. Math. 202, No. 2, 397--434 (2023; Zbl 07738491)] for a detailed presentation. To prepare applications to non-linear equations, a quasi-homogeneous semiclassical para-differential calculus is then presented. Finally, existence of asymptotically flat gravity-capillary water waves is proved, cf. [\textit{T. Alazard} et al., Duke Math. J. 158, No. 3, 413--499 (2011; Zbl 1258.35043)] and two results are given, concerning propagation of oscillations and spatial decay at infinity, and microlocal smoothing effect. The presentation is very clear, with exhaustive bibliography. The paper combines deep techniques of microlocal analysis with relevant problems of Mathematical Physics.
