Determination of 7-dimensional indecomposable nilpotent complex Lie algebras by adjoining a derivation to 6-dimensional Lie algebras (Q630074)

Given a 6-dimensional complex nilpotent Lie algebra, \(L\), the author uses the method of adjoining a derivation along with the computer algebra system Reduce to obtain the set of all indecomposable 7-dimensional nilpotent Lie algebras that contain \(L\). This provides a check on earlier results [\textit{R. Carles}, Weight systems for complex nilpotent Lie algebras and application to the varieties of Lie algebras. Publ. Univ. Poitiers 96 (1996)] and [\textit{C. Seeley}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 335, No. 2, 479--496 (1993; Zbl 0770.17003)] and a correlation of results from these sources.
