Error term in pointwise approximation of the curvature of a curve (Q631053)

The authors present an upper bound for the discrepancy between the curvature of a curve \(c\) and the discrete curvature of a polygonal approximation of \(c\). It does not only depend upon data of the polygon but also on suprema of the curvature of \(c\), its derivation and a so-called `return factor'.
