The authors give some new conditions for the convergence of the Newton-Kantorovich iteration method for nonlinear singular integral equations with shift \[ u(t) = \frac{1}{\pi i}\int\limits_\Gamma \frac{k(\alpha(t), \tau, u(\tau))d\tau}{\tau-\alpha(t)} \] in the generalized Hölder space \(H_\Gamma(\omega)\). Here \(\Gamma\) is a smooth closed Lyapunov contour, \(\alpha(t) : \Gamma \to \Gamma\) is the orientation preserving Carleman shift.
