Lyubeznik numbers are interesting invariants of Noetherian local rings. In the present paper, the author studied Lyubeznik numbers of \(A_{\mathfrak m}\) where \(A\) is a Noetherian graded ring over a field \(k\) with irrelevant ideal \(\mathfrak m\). He showed that, if the characteristic of \(k\) is positive, then the Lyubeznik numbers of \(A_{\mathfrak m}\) depend only on the projective scheme \(\text{Proj} A\), though the homogeneous coordinate ring of a projective scheme is not unique. This is an affirmative answer to the problem posed by \textit{G. Lyubeznik} [Lect. Notes Pure Appl. Math. 226, 121--154 (2002; Zbl 1061.14005), p. 133]. To show it, the author deeply studied the Frobenius morphism of a graded ring. In characteristic zero, the problem is still open.
