The Dirac operator on generalized Taub-NUT spaces (Q635814)

The authors determine sufficient conditions for the absence of harmonic \(L^2\) spinors on spin manifolds constructed as cone bundles over a compact Kähler base. It is shown that these conditions are satisfied for certain perturbations of the Euclidean metric, as well as for the generalized Taub-NUT metric, which proves a conjecture of Vişinescu and the second author.
