The authors consider a nonlinear Schrödinger equation with power-type nonlinearity of the form \(i\partial _t u + \Delta u=| u| ^{p}u\), with \(\frac {4}{n} <p< \frac {4}{n-2}\), \(n\geq 3\). For the Cauchy data \(u_0\in H^{s}(\mathbb {R}^n)\), \(s<1\), they refer to the known global well-posedness result which holds provided \(s\) is sufficiently close to \(1\). Using (among others) the a priori interaction Morawetz inequality promoted to the global Strichartz bound, the authors then show (a new result) that there exists \(s_0=s_0(n,p) \in (0,1)\) such that for \(s_0<s<1\) the scattering holds in \( H^s(\mathbb {R}^n)\). In more detail, they show that the corresponding Cauchy problem is globally well posed and that the global solution \(u\) satisfies the uniform bound \(\| u\| _{L^{\infty }_{t}H^{s}_x(\mathbb {R}\times \mathbb {R}^n)} \leq C(\| u_0\| _{H^{s}_x})\), and that there exist unique scattering states \(u_{\pm }\in H^{s}_x\) such that \(\| u(t) - e^{it\Delta }u_{\pm }\| _{H^s_x} \to 0\) as \(t\to \pm \infty \). The paper is well-written and readable.
