In this article is investigated the initial boundary value problem \[ \begin{cases} u_t=\Delta u - f(u), &x\in \Omega,\;t\in (0, t^*),\\ {{\partial u}\over {\partial n}}=g(u), &x\in \partial\Omega,\;t\in (0, t^*),\\ u(x, 0)=u_0(x),\end{cases}\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^n\) is a bounded star-shaped domain, convex in two orthogonal directions, \(n\geq 2\), \(t^*\) is the blow-up time if blow-up occurs or \(t^*=\infty\), \({{\partial u}\over {\partial n}}\) is the outward normal derivation of \(u\) on the boundary \(\partial \Omega\), which is sufficiently smooth, \(f(\xi)\geq k_1\xi^p\), \(0\leq g(\xi)\leq k_2 \xi^{1+{l\over 2}}\) for every \(\xi\geq 0\) and for some nonnegative constants \(k_1\), \(k_2\) and for \(l\geq 1\), \(p>1\). The authors prove that if \(u\) is a nonnegative solution of the problem (1) and becomes unbounded in the \(\varphi\) measure at some finite time \(t^*\), then \(t^*\) is bounded from below by some positive constant for \(p\leq l+1\), and in the case \(p>l+1\) the authors prove that the problem (1) has a global solution. The function \(\varphi(t)\) is suitable chosen.
