The problem of local equivalence between Cauchy-Riemann manifolds has been widely studied since \textit{H. Poincaré}'s celebrated paper [Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo 23, 185--220 (1907; JFM 38.0459.02)]. Various notions of equivalence appeared: formal, holomorphic, CR, or algebraic. The present paper deals with the relation between holomorphic and algebraic equivalence, for real algebraic families of germs of real-algebraic CR submanifolds (called ``deformations''). The main theorem states that two algebraic deformations of minimal holomorphically non-degenerate real algebraic CR submanifolds of \(\mathbb{C}^n\) are algebraically equivalent iff they are biholomorphically equivalent. For a completely trivial deformation, this is actually a consequence of the following result of [\textit{M. S. Baouendi}, \textit{P. Ebenfelt} and \textit{L. P. Rothschild}, Acta Math. 177, No. 2, 225--273 (1996; Zbl 0890.32005)]: every local biholomorphism mapping holomorphically a non-degenerate and minimal real-algebraic generic submanifold of \(\mathbb{C}^n\) into another of the same dimension, must necessarily be algebraic.
