The authors prove uniform \(L^2\)-estimates for the convolution of singular measures with respect to transversal submanifolds in arbitrary space dimension, extending a previous result of \textit{I. Bejenaru, S. Herr} and \textit{D. Tataru} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 26, No. 2, 707--728 (2010; Zbl 1203.42033)]. As an application, it is shown that the 3D Zakharov system is locally well-posed in the full subcritical regime.
