Almost Lagrangian obstruction (Q645479)

In this paper the obstruction for an almost Lagrangian fibration to be Lagrangian is studied in detail. This problem is central to the classification of Lagrangian fibrations. It is shown that this obstruction, namely, the homomorphism \(D\) from [\textit{P. Dazord} and \textit{P. Delzant} [J. Differ. Geom. 26, 223--251 (1987; Zbl 0634.58003)] and \textit{N. T. Zung} [Compos. Math. 138, No. 2, 125--156 (2003; Zbl 1127.53308)] is related to the cup product in cohomology with local coefficients on the base space \(B\) of the fibration. The map is described explicitly and some explicit examples are calculated, thus providing the first examples of non-trivial Lagrangian obstructions.
