Triangular Bézier surfaces are polynomial maps \(\vec x(u,v)\) determined by a triangulated net of control points. In previous papers, the second author, jointly with others, including the first author in [\textit{A. Arnal, A. Lluch}, and \textit{J. Monterde}, ibid. 235, No. 5, 1098--1113 (2011; Zbl 1215.65032)], considered Bézier surfaces satisfying various partial differential equations (PDEs). These ``PDE surfaces'' are determined by a smaller number of control points. This article treats the case of third-order, linear PDEs, with constant coefficients satisfying a symmetry condition. One such PDE is \(\frac14(\vec x_{uuv}+\vec x_{uvv})-\frac16(\vec x_{uuu}+\vec x_{vvv})=\vec0\), where Theorem 5 finds an explicit solution depending only on the control points on the boundary of the triangular domain.
