This paper continues a previous one [\textit{J. J. Slawianowski} et al., ``Quasiclassical and quantum systems of angular momentum. I. Group algebras as a framework for quantum-mechanical models with symmetries'', J. Geom. Symmetry Phys. 21, 61--94 (2011; Zbl 1238.81133)] concerning the formalism in Quantum Mechanics. In this second part, the Lie algebraic properties of the symmetry used are considered, and the corresponding differential geometric notions to construct explicit representations of physical quantities. More precisely, the convolution group algebras over compact reductive Lie groups are considered. The differential-geometric analysis derives from the consideration of the Levi-Civita connection associated to such groups, and basing on the representation theory of compact groups, complete systems of states are determined. The use of the Lie algebraic structure allows in particular to consider the Berezin bracket (Poisson structure on the dual Lie algebra) and therefore the convolution product allows for a derivation of the linear term of the Moyal bracket. For part III see [the authors, ibid. 23, 59--95 (2011; Zbl 1238.81132)].
