In this manuscript, the author deals with the specific problem of finding normal subgroups of the extended modular group containing some specific subgroup \(\Gamma(12)\). There are interrelations of these subgroups with modular group. Also some new and very nice results are given for the commutator subgroups of second and third power subgroups of the modular group. The group structures and signatures of all the mentioned subgroups are listed. A very nice and interesting paper for all those studying in related areas.
