The authors analyze a system formed by two coupled time-dependent discrete Schrödinger equations. They prove the existence and the time-decay of the solutions for Kirchhoff's type coupling conditions. The proof is based on a limiting absorption principle for the discrete Schrödinger operator and on a refinement of Van der Corput's lemma on oscillatory integrals. In the case of a single discrete Schrödinger equation a similar result was obtained in [\textit{A. Stefanov} and \textit{P. G. Kevrekidis}, Nonlinearity 18, No. 4, 1841--1857 (2005; Zbl 1181.35266)].
