A penalty method for a mixed nonlinear complementarity problem (Q651131)

The authors propose a power penalty method for a fixed nonlinear complementarity problem (MNCP) and under some reasonable conditions they show that the solution to the penalty equation converges to that of the MNCP exponentially as the penalty parameter approaches infinity. Also they develop some numerical methods for mixed complementarity problems; the numerical results confirm their theoretical findings.
