Proper holomorphic mappings between symmetrized ellipsoids (Q651392)

For a class of domains, the so-called symmetrized ellipsoids, the author determines a simple necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a proper holomorphic map from one domain in the class to another. In particular, there are no non-trivial proper holomorphic self maps on these domains (that is, the only such maps are automorphisms of the domain). Moreover, in the situation where there are proper maps, the form of these maps is determined.
