The authors consider holomorphic mappings in domains in \(\mathbb C^n\) that are known as the symmetrized \(n\)-disc. They establish the necessary and sufficient conditions that a holomorphic mapping is proper in the symmetrized domain (theorem 1) and in the unit polydisc (theorem 2).
