In this paper, a new concept called Jaggi-type hybrid contraction in the framework of \(G\)-metric spaces is introduced. New conditions are studied under which these contractions have at least a fixed point. An example is provided to support the applicability of the results and its refinement over previous findings. New conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a solution to a Fredholm-type integral equation can be studied with the help of one of the results.
