All rings considered are commutative with identity. In this paper under review the authors introduce a new class of rings namely the nonnil-very strong finite type rings.\N\NLet \(A\) be a commutative ring. An ideal \(I\) of \(A\) is called nonnil-ideal if \(I\) is not contained in the nilradical of \(A.\) The ring \(A\) is said to be nonnil-very strong finite type (nonnil-VSFT) if for each nonnil-ideal \(I\) of \(A,\) there exist an integer \(n\geq 1\) and a finitely generated ideal \( F\subseteq I\) of \(A\) such that \(I^{n}\subseteq F.\)\N\NThe authors prove that the ring \(A\) is nonnil-VSFT if and only if each nonnil-prime ideal of \(A\) is nonnil-VSFT. They study the stability of the nonnil-VSFT property via homomorphic image of rings, flat overrings, trivial extensions, product of rings. They also prove that if \(Nil(A)\) \(\notin \mathrm{Spec}(A)\) then \(A\) is nonnil-VSFT if and only if \(A\) is VSFT and if \(\mathrm{Nil}(A)\in \mathrm{Spec}(A)\) and \(A\) is locally finite dimensional then \(A\) is nonnil-VSFT if and only if \(A/Nil(A)\) is VSFT and each height one prime ideal of \(A\) is VSFT.
