The existence and the convergence of Kähler-Einstein metrics is one of the central topics in geometry and modern mathematics. \textit{C. Li} and \textit{S. Sun} [Commun. Math. Phys. 331, No. 3, 927--973 (2014; Zbl 1296.32008)] proved the existence of conical Kähler-Einstein metrics on \(\mathbb{P}^2\) and conjectured that these metrics converge to the weighted projective space \(\mathbb{P}(1,1,4)\) in the Gromov-Hausdorff sense. \textit{X. Chen} et al. [J. Am. Math. Soc. 28, No. 1, 199--234 (2015; Zbl 1312.53097)] developed a machinery to understand the convergence of conical Kähler-Einstein metrics. Under these guidelines, the author studies the limits of conical Kähler-Einstein metrics with decreasing cone angles along a codimension one orbit on rank one horosymmetric spaces. As the main result, he proves that the metrics converge to the pullback of the Kähler-Einstein metric outside the codimension one orbit, while, restricted to a symmetric fiber and rescaled, they converge to Stenzel's complete Ricci flat metric.
