The paper is concerned with the differential system \N\[\NQ_0 Y'(x) + Q(x) Y(x) = \rho Y(x), \quad 0 \le x \le T, \N\]\Nwhere \(Y(x)\) is a column vector-function, \(Q_0\) is a diagonal constant matrix of non-zero complex elements, \(Q(x)\) is a matrix function with elements \(q_{jk} \in L(0,T)\) and \(q_{kk} = 0\), \(\rho\) is the spectral parameter.\N\NThe author studies the inverse spectral problem that consists in the recovery of the potential \(Q(x)\) from the Weyl matrix. A constructive solution of the inverse problem, based on the method of spectral mappings, is obtained. Furthermore, necessary and sufficient conditions for the global solvability of the inverse problem are found. These conditions include the spectral data asymptotics, the invertibility of the linear operator from the main equation, and also the condition guaranteeing that \(q_{jk} \in L(0,T)\).
