Summary: The notion of completely dissipative maps on \(\sigma-C^\ast\)-algebras is introduced. We show that a completely dissipative map induces a representation of a \(\sigma-C^\ast\)-algebra. The classical Stinespring dilation-type theorem is extended to a more general setting.
