Relying on a system of invariants defined by the first and third authors in [Manuscr. Math. 122, No. 1, 73--95 (2007; Zbl 1107.53010)], the authors study hypersurfaces in \(n\)-dimensional Laguerre geometry using the method of moving frames. In particular, a classification of those hypersurfaces for which one of these invariants, the ``Laguerre tensor'', has constant eigenvalues and another, the ``Laguerre form'', vanishes, is provided: in dimension \(n\geq4\) these come in two flavours, as certain product hypersurfaces (Expls 1.1-2, Thm 1.2), or as certain Laguerre isotropic hypersurfaces (Thm 1.1).
