The Gale transform of a pointset in \(\mathrm{PG}(r,q)\) is defined in the following way. If the points are given in homogeneous coordinates as the rows of the matrix \(\left(\begin{matrix} I_{r+1}\\ A \end{matrix}\right)\), where \(A\) is an \((s+1)\)-by-\((r+1)\) matrix, then the Gale transform is the set of points in \(\mathrm{PG}(s,q)\) given by the rows of \(\left(\begin{matrix} A^T \\I_{s+1}\end{matrix} \right)\). The authors study the Gale transform of some interesting objects in projective spaces. These include the classical unital in the projective plane of order 4, the distinguished 10-set in \(\mathrm{PG}(3,4)\) and the Baer subplanes in \(\mathrm{PG}(2,4)\) and \(\mathrm{PG}(2,9)\). The authors investigate also the properties of the error-corrected codes associated with the Gale transforms of these sets.
