Let \(G\) be a group and \(H \leq G\) be a subgroup of finite index. The transfer (of \(G\) on \(H\)) is a group homomorphism from \(G\) to \(H/H'\), the abelianization of \(H\). In finite group theory, it can be used in conjunction with the Sylow theorems to obtain some information about the structure of \(G\) and its abelian quotients.\N\NIn the paper under review, the author revisits the concept of transfer. Then, he obtains new some consequences and immediate proofs of old results.
