The authors study the well-poseness of the equations of viscous compressible and heat-conducting full magnetohydrodynamic steady flows in a horizontal layer under the gravitational force and a large temperature gradient across the layer. As for boundary conditions, in the horizontal directions, the choice of periodic boundary conditions on the velocity, temperature, and magnetic field is made. For the vertical direction, the slip-boundary conditions are considered for the velocity, and the magnetic field has its lines assumed vertical, while fixed temperature/heat flux is prescribed. The authors first construct a nonlinear operator by introducing a linearized problem, and then apply the Schauder fixed point theorem to the nonlinear operator, with the help of the complicated a priori estimates, to establish the existence of stationary solutions in a small neighborhood of a stationary profile close to the hydrostatic state.
