      A finite group \(G\) is said to be a \(B(n, k)\) group if for any \(n\)-element subset \(\{a_1, \dots, a_n\}\) of \(G\), \(|\{a_ia_j : 1 \leq i, j \leq n\}| \leq k\). In this paper, the authors give the following characterization of \(B(5, 20)\) \(2\)-Groups:\N\N\noindent \textbf{Theorem.} A \(2\)-group \(G\) is a \(B(5, 20)\) group if and only if one of the following holds:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[(1)] \(G\) is abelian.\N\item[(2)] \(G\) is a non-abelian \(2\)-group of order at most \(16\).\N\item[(3)] \(G\) is one of the following groups:\N\begin{itemize}\N\item[(a)] \(P \times C_2^m\), \(m \geq 1\);\N\item[(b)] \(Q_8 \times C_4 \times C_2^m\), \(m \geq 0\);\N\item[(c)] \(D \times C_2^m\), \(m \geq 1\);\N\item[(d)] \(D_8 \times C_2^m\), \(m \leq 2\);\N\item[(e)] \(Q_8 \times C_2^m\), \(m \geq 2\).\N\end{itemize}\N\end{itemize}\NHere, \(P = \langle a, b : a^4 = b^4 = 1, bab^{-1} = a^3\rangle\), \(D = \langle a, b, c : a^2 = b^2 = c^4 = 1, ac = ca, bc = cb, bab^{-1} = c^2a\rangle\), \(D_8\) is the dihedral group of order \(8\), \(Q_8\) is the quaternion group of order \(8\), \(C_n\) is the cyclic group of order \(n\) and \(C_2^m\) denotes \(m\) copies of \(C_2\).
