Lecture notes on quantization and group \(C^\ast\)-algebras (Q6606769)

This note consists of 5 sections dealing essentially on the theme of group \(C^*\)-algebras, representation theory of nilpotent Lie groups and \(C^*\)-rigidity. The first section deals with the notion of Group \(C^*\)-Algebras in which one recalls some basis definitions and imporatnt results. In Section 2, the author gives Examples of Solvable Lie Groups \(G_1\nsim G_2\) with \(C^*(G_1)\simeq C^*(G_2)\) and he points out some problems. Section 3 deals with some basic concepts of representation theory of Nilpotent Lie groups such as the Method of Coadjoint Orbits for General Nilpotent Lie Groups. Finally, in Section 4, one points out some questions and problems about \(C^*\)-rigidity and stably \(C^*\)-rigidity.\N\NFor the entire collection see [Zbl 1531.53004].
