The layout of the paper is as follows:\N\N\textbf{\S1. Chebyshev-Padé approximants} (\(2\frac{1}{2}\) pages)\N\NContains the definitions needed and gives an excellent overview of the historical developments. Specifically Section 1.2 (\textit{Statement of the convergence problem and outline of the} \textit{article}) addresses the history, touching upon the work by \textit{H. Stahl} [in: Nonlinear numerical methods and rational approximation, Proc. Conf., Antwerp/Belgium 1987, Math. Appl., D. Reidel Publ. Co. 43, 23--53 (1988; Zbl 0662.41005); ``Sets of minimal capacity and extremal domains'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1205.3811}], \textit{A. A. Gonchar} and \textit{E. A. Rakhmanov} [Mat. Sb., Nov. Ser. 134(176), No. 3(11), 306--352 (1987; Zbl 0645.30026)] and subsequent papers (2012--2021).\N\NThe fact that convergence problems can be reached from problems about the limit distribution of zeros for Type-I Hermite-Padé approximants (sometimes called \textit{Latin Polynomials}, [\textit{K. Mahler}, Compos. Math. 19, 95--166 (1968; Zbl 0168.31303)] is indicated here.\N\N\textbf{\S2. Padé approximants at infinity} (\(2\frac{1}{2}\) pages)\N\N\textbf{\S3. Hermite-Padé polynomials} (\(2\frac{1}{2}\) pages)\N\NInteresting is here the situation of two functions \(f_1, f_2\), determined by series expansions at infinity \N\[\NF_j(z)=\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\,\frac{c_{n,j}}{z^n},\ j=1,2\N\]\Nwhere the corresponding Type-I Hermite-Padé approximants \(Q_{n,0}\in\mathbb{P}_{n-1}\) and \(Q_{n,1},Q_{n,2}\in\mathbb{P}_n\) are determined by \N\[\NR_n(z)=(Q_{n,0}+Q_{n,1}f_1+Q_{n,2}f)(z)=O\left(\frac{1}{z^{2n+2}}\right),\,n\rightarrow\infty.\N\]\NIn the case of two Markov functions \N\[\Nf_1(z)=\hat{\mu}:=\int_{\Delta}\,\frac{d\mu(x)}{z-x},\ f_2(z)=\langle \mu,\sigma\rangle(z):=\int_{\Delta}\, \frac{\hat{\sigma}(x)d\mu(x)}{z-x}, \ z\in D,\N\]\Nwhere \(D=\bar{\mathbb{C}}\setminus\Delta\) and \N\[\N\hat{\sigma}(z)=\int_c^d\, \frac{d\sigma(t)}{z-t}, \ z\not\in [c,d]\subset \mathbb{R}\setminus \Delta.\N\]\NThen the explicit formula for the \(n\)th order Chebyshev-Padé approximant \(\Phi_n=P_n/Q_n\) for \(f(z)=\hat{\sigma}\) is given in \N\N\textbf{Proposition 3.1.} We have \N\[\N\Phi_n(z)=\frac{P_n(z)}{Q_n(z)}=-\frac{Q_{n,1}(z)}{Q_{n,2}(z)}.\N\]\N\textbf{\S4. General interpolation problem} (\(1\frac{1}{2}\) page)\N\N\textbf{\S5. The GRS-Theorem} (\(2\frac{1}{2}\) pages)\N\N\textbf{\S6. A conjecture about Chebyshev-Padé approximations} (\(2\) pages)\N\N\textbf{\S7. Scalar equilibrium problems associated with Chebyshev-Padé approximants} (\(3\) pages)\N\N\textbf{\S8.
