Let $K$ be a precubical set that can be embedded in a standard cube. Using Discrete Morse Theory, the author constructs a CW-complex that is homotopy equivalent to the space of directed paths $\vec{P}(K)_v^w$ between two given vertices $v$ and $w$ of $K$. In many cases, this construction is minimal in the following sense: the cells of the CW-complex are in bijective correspondence with the generators of the homology of $\vec{P}(K)_v^w$.
