The paper deals with the existence of a continuous iterative root of a given order for the germ of a holomorphic mapping \(F: (U,0) \to (\mathbb C,0)\) of the form \(F(z) =\rho z+ \dots\) where \(\rho\) is the primitive root of unity of order \(\geq 2\). Conditions guaranteeing the existence of this root and the topological linearizability of \(F\) are given.
