On certain differential properties of solution of a partial differential equation (Q677706)

The author investigates the following problem: \[ u_{xy}+ au_x+ bu_y+ cu=0,\quad 0<x<p,\quad 0<y<q, \] \[ u_{yy}(x,0)= v(x),\quad 0\leq x\leq p,\quad u_{xx}(0,y)= v_1(y),\quad 0\leq y\leq q, \] where \(v\), \(v_1\) are given. Under certain conditions on \(a\), \(b\), \(c\), \(v\), \(v_1\) solvability of this problem is proved.
