The author investigates \(L^p\)-boundedness of periodic pseudo-differential operators. The periodic (or toroidal) operator with symbol \(a(x,\xi)\) is defined as \[ a(x,D)u(x) = \sum_{\xi\in \mathbb{Z}^n} e^{i 2\pi <x,\xi>}a(x,\xi)\hat{u}(\xi). \] The symbol \(a(x,\xi)\) is a function on \(\mathbb{T}^n\times \mathbb{Z}^n\) satisfying the Hörmander type conditions. The author proves sufficient conditions for the symbol that implies the extension of the corresponding periodic operator \(a(x,D)\) to a bounded operator on \(L^p(\mathbb{T}^n)\) if \(1\leq p<\infty\) of if \(1< p<\infty\). Moreover he investigates the boundedness of multipliers \(a(x,\xi)=\sigma(\xi)\) if \(0<p\leq 1\) and the boundedness of positive amplitude operators on \(L^1(\mathbb{T}^n)\).
