Bi-exactness is an analytic property of groups introduced by \textit{N. Ozawa} in [Acta Math. 192, No. 1, 111--117 (2004; Zbl 1072.46040)]. A group \(G\) is called bi-exact if it is exact and there exists a map \(\mu:G\to \operatorname{Prob}(G)\) such that for any \(s,t\in G\) one has\N\[\N\lim_{x\to\infty}\|\mu(sxt)-s\cdot \mu(x)\|_1=0.\N\]\NThe paper proves that finitely generated \(C(1/33)\)-groups are bi-exact, thereby yielding a new class of examples. The argument relies on the characterization via proper arrays due to \textit{I.~Chifan} et al. [Adv. Math. 245, 208--236 (2013; Zbl 1288.46037)].\N\NFor a finitely generated group given by a \(C(1/33)\)-presentation, the author constructs a finitely supported map \(\Phi:G\times G\to \ell^1(G)\) satisfying symmetry, equivariance and suitable metric estimates, using two arrays arising from the geometry of the Cayley graph. As a consequence, every non-virtually cyclic finitely generated \(C(1/33)\)-group is properly proximal.
