The authors develop a 2-categorical analogue of Drinfeld's classification theorem for Poisson homogeneous spaces [\textit{V. G. Drinfel'd}, Theor. Math. Phys. 95, No. 2, 524--525 (1993; Zbl 0852.22018); translation from Teor. Mat. Fiz. 95, No. 2, 226--227 (1993)], extending classical results from Poisson-Lie groups and Poisson groupoids to the setting of Poisson 2-groups. Building on the correspondence between Lie 2-groups and Lie group crossed modules \((G_1 \xrightarrow{\partial} G_0)\), as well as between Poisson 2-groups and Lie 2-bialgebras, the authors provide a systematic framework for defining and classifying homogeneous spaces in this higher-categorical context.\N\NA central novelty of the work lies in the careful treatment of Lie 2-group actions on Lie groupoids, which are interpreted as homomorphisms of group crossed modules. This perspective allows the authors to unify and generalize several earlier notions of Lie 2-group actions, representations on 2-vector spaces, and adjoint/coadjoint actions. In particular, the construction of the tangent and cotangent Lie 2-groups associated to a given Lie 2-group \(G\), realized as semi-direct products \(G \ltimes \mathfrak{g}\) and \(G \ltimes \mathfrak{g}^*\), is both conceptually natural and technically nontrivial, and is of independent interest. The paper's main contribution appears in Section~4, where the authors define Poisson homogeneous spaces of Poisson 2-groups. Unlike the classical case, closed Lie 2-subgroups do not necessarily share the same base manifold, which obstructs a direct application of existing theories of Poisson groupoid homogeneous spaces. This difficulty is resolved by introducing quotient Poisson groupoids and analyzing homogeneous spaces of the form\N\[\NG/H = (G_0 \ltimes G_1)/(H_0 \ltimes H_1).\N\]\NThe authors prove a Drinfeld-type classification theorem: Poisson homogeneous spaces of a Poisson 2-group \(G\) are in one-to-one correspondence with \(H_0\)-invariant Dirac structures \(L\) of the Lie bialgebra \((\mathfrak{g}_1,\mathfrak{g}_1^*)\) satisfying \(L \cap \mathfrak{g}_1 = \mathfrak{h}_1\).\N\NOverall, the paper represents a significant advancement in the theory of Poisson geometry in higher categories. It clarifies the structure of homogeneous spaces in the Lie 2-group setting and opens the door to further developments in Poisson 2-groupoids, higher Dirac geometry, and quantization.
