The authors present some generalized Frattini results for finite groups, primarily related to supersolvability and illustrated by the following which is contained in Theorem 3.11: If \(G/\Phi_ p(G)\) is supersolvable, if each minimal \(p\)-subgroup of \(\Phi_ p(G)\) is \(\pi\)-quasinormal in \(G\) and if \(p\) is odd then \(G\) is supersolvable. (\(\Phi_ p(G)\) denotes the intersection of the maximal subgroups of \(G\) which have indices not divisible by the prime \(p\)).
