The points of intersection of the diagonals of a convex pentagon define a new and smaller pentagon that the authors call the diagopentagon. Iterating this process leads to a sequence of pentagons. The main result is that this sequence converges to a point inside the pentagon which is characterized as the fixed point of an affine map.\N\NFor Part I see [the first author, ibid. 130, 28--38 (2023; Zbl 1544.51018)].
