The authors define and study an extended hyperbolic space which contains the hyperbolic space and the de Sitter space as subspaces. In Section 2, named Hyperbolic sphere containing hyperbolic space, the authors, using the Riemannian metric \(ds_{K}^{2}\) on the ball in \(\{1\}\times \mathbb{R}^{n}\), define an extended hyperbolic space \(K^{n}\). The unit ball with the metric \(ds_{K}^{2}\) is denoted by \( \mathbb{H}^n\). Also, they define the \(\epsilon\)-approximation of \(ds_{K}^{2}\) as \(ds_{\epsilon }^{2}\) and the volume form for \( ds_{\epsilon }^{2}\). They define the volume of a subset \(U \) of \(K^{n}\) lying across the ideal boundary of \(H^{n}\) by \(\mu (U)\), and they show that for an appropriate set \(U\) of \(K^{n},\) \(\mu (U)=vol(U)\) with \(vol(U)\) the volume of a set \(U\) in the unit disk \({H}^{n}\). An interesting property of the authors connects the volume of the Euclidean sphere \(S^{n}\) and the volume of the hyperbolic sphere \(S_{H}^{n}.\) In Section 3, named Invariance property and measure theory on the extended model, the authors study the invariance of a \(\mu \)-measurable set in \(\mathbb{R}\), \(P_{H}^{n}\) or \(S_{H}^{n}\). In Section 4, the authors show some of the advantages of the extended hyperbolic space model and give some applications of this model. They give a formula for the volume of the lune of hyperbolic solid angle \(S\) in \(S_{H}^{n}.\) Also, the authors derive the Gauss-Bonnet formula combinatorially, using the Euler method in \(S_{H}^{n}.\) \newline The article is very important to be studied by those interested in hyperbolic geometry.
