The notion of coherent sequence of polynomial ideals \(\mathcal{U}=\left\{ \mathcal{U}_{k}\right\} _{k}\), due to \textit{D. Carando, V. Dimant} and \textit{S. Muro} [Math. Nachr. 282, No. 8, 1111--1133 (2009; Zbl 1181.47076)], is used in a natural way, following the lines of [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 336, No. 2, 1324--1340 (2007; Zbl 1128.47005)], to build the spaces of \(\mathcal{U}\)-holomorphic functions of bounded type: if \(E\) is a Banach space, then \[ H_{b\mathcal{U}}(E)=\left\{ f\in H(E):\frac{d^{k}f(0)}{k!}\in\mathcal{U} _{k}\left( E\right) \text{ and }\lim_{k\rightarrow\infty}\left\| \frac{d^{k}f(0)}{k!}\right\| _{\mathcal{U}_{k}\left( E\right) }^{\frac {1}{k}}=0\right\} . \] In the paper under review, the authors introduce the notion of multiplicative sequence of scalar-valued polynomial ideals and study the spectrum of the algebra \(H_{b\mathcal{U}}(E).\) The authors show, among other results, that the spectrum \(M_{b\mathcal{U}}(E)\) of this algebra behaves, in a sense that is made clear along the text, like the classical case of the spectrum of \(H_{b}\left( E\right) \), the algebra of bounded type holomorphic functions. In the final section, a Banach-Stone type result for these algebras is proved.
