In analogy with the invariant presented in the work of the author in collaboration with \textit{T.~Giordano} [Münster J. Math. 1, No.~1, 15--72 (2008; Zbl 1163.60019)] a new invariant for approximately transitive (AT) actions is introduced. Namely, let \(P_m\) be a sequence of Laurent polynomials describing an AT action and \(w_k\) be a sequence of modulus~1 complex numbers. Then the new invariant is defined as follows:\N\[\N\mathcal{S}((w_k),(P_m))=\lim_{l\to+\infty}\inf_{k\geq1}\lim_{d\to+\infty}\left|\prod_{m=l}^{l+d}P_m(w_k)\right|. \N\]\NThe author uses it to show that members of some one-parameter families of AT actions are mutually non-isomorphic. In the paper there are also results about nonisomorphism between (tensor) powers of systems.
