Dabrowski et al. recovered the metric and Einstein bilinear functionals of differential forms by the Dirac operator and the Wodzicki residue, then they defined the metric and Einstein bilinear functionals for the spectral triple. In this nice paper, they computed the metric and Einstein bilinear functionals for the Hodge-Dirac spectral triple on an oriented, closed, even-dimensional Riemannian manifold and showed that they were equal (up to a numerical factor) to these functionals for the canonical Dirac operator on a spin manifold. Furthermore, they demonstrated that the spectral triple for the Hodge-Dirac operator was spectrally closed, which implied that it was torsion-free.
